The news out of the crypto and blockchain ecosystem just keeps on ticking over. To help you keep up with it all, I’ve pieced together a 22-part thread dedicated to events that have occurred over the past 24 hours.
Below are ten of the thread’s most noteworthy inclusions. We’re talking multiple project launches, a major partnership with a leading Australian university, and the coming-together of crypto heavyweights to shore up industry compliance. Enjoy!
 Harbor launched its first institutional-grade platform for tokenizing private securities. DRW Holdings’ real estate arm Convexity Properties to offer a tokenized real estate investment trust (REIT) of private equity in The Hub at Columbia on Harbor’s platform. Equity is divided into 955 shares (tokens) priced at $21,000 a pop!
 Fantom (FTM) has partnered with the University of Sydney, the oldest university in Australia! The DAG-based smart contract platform will be providing the university with scholarships, research grants, technical support and more.
 Open-source data library and crypto-specific news aggregator Messari launched a disclosure registry for token-issuing projects to publicly share information that might otherwise be difficult for investors to find. Much needed! Launch partners include Mainframe (MFT), Zilliqa (ZIL) and Aion (AION).
 Announced today, the dates for New York’s Blockchain Week are locked in for May 10-17. The second annual Blockchain Week NYC will be co-hosted by CoinDesk and the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC). The week includes the fifth instalment of leading blockchain technology summit, Consensus (May 13-15).
 Out of stealth-mode as of today, San Francisco-based Bitski unveiled its Bitski Developer Beta to provide developers with an SDK for usable, single sign-on (SSO) crypto wallets secured in hardware. Seven game developers among the earliest to pay a fee to Bitski for SDK integration!
 Another project launch came by way of Swytch (SET), a blockchain-based clean energy platform. The Austin-headquartered startup enables users to track, verify, and claim the rights to renewable energy data and attributions.
 Po.et (POE), a decentralized protocol for content ownership, discovery and monetization in media, is now live on the bitcoin mainnet! Partnership announcements and product updates to drop over the coming weeks.
 TRON Foundation’s BitTorrent announced that customers can now pay for BitTorrent Pro and Ads Free with Tronix (TRX), Binance Coin (BNB), or bitcoin (BTC). Made possible by CoinPayments, a leading integrated cryptocurrency payment gateway provider.
 Ten companies joined forces to establish the Association for Digital Asset Markets (ADAM), a private 501(c)6 not-for-profit organization aiming to standardize a code of conduct for the digital asset space. Founding members include Galaxy Digital, Paxos, Cumberland, Symbiont, and Genesis Global Trading.
 WAX (WAX) introduced ‘WAX Digital Art’, what they deem to be “the safest, fastest, and easiest way to instantly trade digital art to anyone in the world.” Can also be displayed in virtual spaces like Terra Virtua or with augmented reality. Neat!
