Nugget's News

Hey everyone,

Before I get into the March update, I’d just like to pass on that we hope you are keeping safe and getting through these extremely testing times okay.

We’d like to also welcome our new partners this month including SantimentGlass Node & Altcoin Mastery.

Metrics & Milestones

After reaching 70,000 subscribers in February, our YouTube channel continued being a source of education and insight for more people throughout March. It was great having Raoul Pal of Real Vision on once again for what was an incredibly relevant discussion.

We continued to see growth across our socials in March. Seeing our follower count on Twitter cross 10,000 was particularly pleasing.

On the website front, it attracted a record number of monthly visits—a total that was nearly double the previous record. Responsible for this was our coronavirus pandemic article and ever-expanding Resource Hub.

Business Development

As a team, we made the call early in March to return to remote work. It was a shame, because we’d just finished acclimatising to our new home office and were highly encouraged by the synergistic benefits we were seeing.

But, at the end of the day, Mother Nature does what she wants. All we can do is respect that and adapt accordingly. The team’s adaptability is something I continue to be impressed by.

A lot of our March focus areas were to do with development. Developing our back-end systems. Developing our soon-to-launch revamped website. Developing our products. Developing our partnership network. I won’t say much more on these for now!

Bolstering our customer support team was another big priority in March. This required a monumental effort from Megan, who took on the challenge of creating extensive training materials to enable us to hire and train remotely in as efficient a way as possible—given the circumstances.

In Closing

To state the obvious, this year will be like no other. Whilst the immediate health effects of COVID-19 have been devastating enough, the virus’ effect on society and the economy will likely be felt for quite a while yet.

At Nugget’s News, we’re doing our best to stay the course and remain focused. Until my April update, I wish good health to you and the people you care about.
